Q1. What is Windows8?
Ans:
Windows8 is a popular touch optimized operating
system designed to run on personal computers such as desktop and laptop
computers and touch screen devices like tablet PCs and smart phone.
Q2. What is the Start screen? Name any
four components of the start screen.
Ans: The start screen contains a grid of
rectangular tiles. The following components of the start screen are:- Camera
apps, Viewing Photos, Playing Music’s and Browsing Internet.
Q3. Why do you use camera app? Name
the different icons offered by the Camera’s App bar.
Ans:
Camera app use to take a photo through computer’s camera. The different icons
offered by a camera app are Change camera, Timer, Video mode.
Q4. What is the use of the Music app?
Ans:
The use of Music app on the start screen to play music as well as it is an
online music store.
