E. Define the terms:
1. File Tab: - It
contains the file related function like New, Open, Save, Print etc.
2. Quick Access Toolbar: - The Quick access
toolbar located above the ribbon. By default it shows the save, undo and repeat
command.
3. Ribbon: - The ribbon contains all of the
commands you will need in order to perform common task.
4. Ruler: - The ruler is located at the top
and to the left of your document.
5. Word Wrap: - Word Wrap features allowed the cursor to move down
automatically to the next line when reached at the end of the line.
F. Write the number steps to save a document in
the correct order:
1. Click on ‘File’ Menu button
2. Click on ‘Save As’ option. A save as
dialog box will apear.
3. Select the location of the file in the
save in box located at the top of ‘Save As’ box.
4. Type the name of the file in ‘File name’
box.
5. Click on the ‘save’ button to save the file.

1. What do you mean by Word Processing
Software?
Answer | MS Word is Word Processing Software.
In Word Processing Software User can type letters, poems, essay etc.
2. What is formatting?
Answer | Formatting means to changes in the
document like bold, italics, underline, space, margins etc.
3. Name the components of the MS Word Window?
Answer | There are following components of MS
Word Window are: File Tab, Title bar, Quick Access Toolbar, Ruler, Ribbon etc.
4. What is Document Area?

| Document Area is used to type text, insert picture, create tables etc. Using
a cursor present in this area.
